Ah, glad I searched before posting... Also using a mac mini as server, and had no problems with 7.0, but as soon as I upgraded to 7.0.1 could no longer get the scanner to add music or do a complete re-scan, errors such as (scanner.log):
[08-06-28 12:26:54.8106] main::main (211) Error: Failed when running main scan: [spec is not a valid file specification at /Library/PreferencePanes/SqueezeCenter.prefPane/Contents/server/Slim/Utils/Misc.pm line 403. ] [08-06-28 12:26:54.8110] main::main (212) Error: Skipping post-process & Not updating lastRescanTime! Anyway, I shall try upgrading to the 7.0.2 (thanks for the link Michael) and if that doesn't work will try a clean install, and if that doesn't work will revert back to 7.0 and await the next build.
