I would imagine that a number of Squeezebox Duet receivers are connected to remote controlled amplifiers - it would have been great to have an IR extender output socket on the Duet receiver so that it could have controlled the volume on the amplifier. Without this feature you have to use two remote controls to switch on the amplifier/change volume and control the music. I have a Harmony RF remote control and it would be nice to just use the Duet controller for music control. Now that Logitech have bought Harmony I would hope for some convergence in this area!
