Too many people get hung up on the analysis part of this. You can start using MIP before doing the lengthy analysis. I have not done the full analysis and I use MIP all of the time. Initially, it will based mixes strictly on your tags. This works quite well. When you perform the full analysis, each track is fingerprinted allowing more finely tuned mixes.
