I actually have tried it both with and without DHCP. No luck either way. Yesterday I spoke with Support. After describing the steps I had taken so far I was escalated to Level 2. He read over the case, confirmed that I was getting the problem during network setup after doing the factory reset, and then said I would have to send the unit back for repair. My guess is that there is a problem with the Ethernet port on the SB. I had an email with my RMA number less than 30 seconds after the call.
