No down time since I bought it in Jan. I've had some issues with tags not working as I thought they should but just a difference of opinion, and the issue of replaygain not working right if you have both replaygain tags and Itunes soundcheck tags in the same file. But the main thing is no down time. I'd say at least 80% of problems people have are with network issues and antivirus programs.
