Hi Pauline,

I would recommend connecting with the Library Freedom Project
(https://libraryfreedomproject.org/). I attended this amazing talk by
Alison Macrina at LibrePlanet last weekend and... wow! I sounds like
every public library would want to enjoy their program.

This reminds me of a recent thread where Greg asked for organizations
we might want to have a conversation with. It sounds like we would
have interesting perspectives to share with and learn from the Library
Freedom Project. They also have a program for training their
instructors, they also run on foundation funds. They train librarians
wrt software skills (not sure how similar/complementary to what SWC
librarians do) but also legal skills (for they play in the privacy,
intellectual freedom arena).

Best,
Marianne
