Thanks for bringing this up, Auriel. I wonder if it is worth clarifying
these policies with institutions at the time that they make a workshop
request. Then, we can let instructors know in advance whether they will
have to wait for reimbursements for major expenses vs having travel +
lodging covered up front. I would hate for any of our instructors to refuse
a teaching opportunity because they aren't sure if they will need money up
front.
