I've got a few more: - +1 to Maneesha's *flat* lectern suggestion.
- I need the lectern/podium/table that I'm instructing from to be tall enough for me to stand; I'm 6' 4" (1.9 m) tall, and frequently have to steal a bagel box to boost my laptop to a comfortable height (which is perfectly fine, but not always available). - I'd appreciate a stool that allows me to switch to sitting intermittently without disappearing from view. - Both outlets and display cables that are built into the lectern are very helpful for reducing my risk of tripping. - Finally, sufficient space between rows of tables for helpers and me to access learners without invading their neighbors' space or tripping on cables.
