Ski, What are you using to come up with that 30-days value... the "rough number" I get[1] for 345GB at GigE speeds is less than an hour.
I think you'd be surprised how fast your mail actually transfers. I know when we migrated from one mail-cluster to another at Vassar, we radically over-thought the process in terms of how much time it would take and we were extremely pleasantly surprised.....
