What's your major? Here in the Math Department of the University of
wisconsin, students don't have access to Windows PCs. Our labs have linux
plus a few Macs. Okay, there is *one* Windows machine in one of our
labs. But all the software our students need runs under linux and MacOS.

Hi guys
my department of rehab counsilr, from whom I hope to get my mac for
college, said the following.
"I am going to give you a hard time, though, if you want to get a Mac. It
does not have the operating system that is compatible with the majority of the
business world applications."
Could anyone offer me some ammo for this debate? Thanks
