We have a bluetooth usb mouse. You plug the usb part into a port,
then it talks to the mouse wirelessly. It's supposed to work like a
usb device. We plugged it into the mac, and it never saw it. No
amount of configuring could make it notice we'd plugged it in. It
was a smaller mouse, we were going to let our son use it (he's now 4,
but at the time he was 3) Good thing it was free (from the neighbors)
or I'd have been real mad.
But in any case, we never did get it to work, though prhaps I'll give
it another try this week if I can find the silly thing.

I'm considering getting a usb bluetooth module for my daughter's
computer instead of having it opened up. I know they can work with
apple but I'm wondering whether something shows up in system
Preferences or how you control your settings. Having bought a usb-
serial cable for whose driver I had to search for hours, and having
bought a pair of bluetooth headphones I'll probably have to return,
I'd like to have some idea how difficult this is going to be.
I also am looking into getting a usb printer; I want to be able to
plug it into the usb port on my Airport Extreme and use printer
sharing. Does anybody know of any pitfalls of which I should be
aware in choosing a printer?
Thanks.
