This is another bug in the system, but you might try vokeys with
shift-w to read the window. It'll read a bunch of other stuff
because you're reading the whole window, but it might read the rest
of the message. Another way to do this is to try making the font
smaller but that gets tricky too since you may miss ends of lines.
