Hi travis. It wasn't like that at all, because I had other windows open at the time.

No, it was just that when I returned to the Downloads window, while Safai was attempting to download, (after I had attempted to quit and canceled because of the download), the window was gone, There was just the button; no list, no group, just a thing that said button.

Oh, you had the blank screen you get after you close all of your open windows but not safari itself. Simply hit command-option-l and you'll get the downloads screen back.

The list disappeared. The window was still there, and I could tell by looking at the desktop that the file was still downloading, but there wa sno list. Only a button. When I interacted with it, I heard three items button. That was it.

Jane,

You mean the list disappeared or the downloads window disappeared?

There was no group list. It just disappeared.

Jane,

Did you try interacting with the group list?

I accidentally hit command-q in Safari while I was downloading. A dialog came up and gave me the option of not quitting, so I chose that. But when I went into the Downloads window, I just got and am still dealing with only buttons. I can't get any idea on how far I have to go with the download.

Are there any ways to deal with this?

Jane
