I'd still like to understand what the hell this guy is talking about. is he complaining that the windblows screen readers use the numpad or something. what is his deal???

What made that keyboard layout "standard?" Wasn't it the screen reader manufacturer? I mean, JAWS and WindowEyes don't use the same keyboard commands. Why is this such a deal breaker for you? Have you checked out QuickKeys at all?
