The difference is that you can arrow through tabs and see them. it's
like those cool multi page dialogs but only better beecause you don't
have to space on them and for them that can see the tabs, it lets you
know at a glance what you have open. Also, as I understand it, with
windows, you are in effect running multiple instances of safari.
