Hi Richard,
Front Row is kind of a special case, I'd argue. I'd suggest
thinking (as others have) of Front Row as a sort of media
interface for the new Macs. Clearly designed to make the machines
especially attractive to prospective MacIntel buyers. Though I
haven't confirmed this myself, word is, Front Row is a Universal
Binary i.e. compatible with both PowerPC and Intel. Apple's
deciding to include this app on just the MacIntel machines does
not have anything to do with its architecture compatibility, does
not signal a move to Intel-only compatibility (there is much
evidence to the contrary) and has everything to do with framing
the new MacIntel machines as media centers. Know what I mean?
