But the Frontrow upgrade downloads are just for the Intel units. The
instructions cleary say not to download the firmware and put it on a
PPc.

working on iMacs and says nothing about intel being a requirement.
I think the confusion comes in because front row works on intel mac
minis but not on ppc mac minis.
