I have to admit that I was quite surprised to find out what G4 Ibooks
are going for, nearly a thousand dollars a piece, incredible.

The OS X on generic 86 is interesting but not really practical for a
production machine. If you save $50 a month for a year that covers a
brand new Mini that you can reasonably expect to be compatible with
the latest software offering five years after purchase. It will be
far longer than a year before OSx86 is anything more than an
interesting hack.
