Someone want to fill me in on this firewire requirement for vo to run?
Why does it matter if the computer has firewire port or not? It's
not like vo uses the firewire port itself, so why is it a requirement?
Or is this just a method of determining if the machine is new enough?
And if so, if two machines are identical except one has firewire and
one doesn't, why would vo not run on the one mising the firewire port?
I keep seeing this requirement, and it's finally prompted me to ask.
So if anyone has the scoop, I'd love to hear it.
