You use the arrow keys to sscroll through a file and hit the space
bar to hear where you are, when you reach the begining of a portion
you want to delete etc you set a start marker and conversely you set
an end marker when you find the end of the portion you wish to work
on or delete, users of Sound Forge have been doing this sort of thing
for years.
As I said I'd like to see enhancements made to scrolling because its
very slow with the keyboard but there's actually a good point to this
and that is you can make your selection very accurate.
I did write a small review on Sound Studio some time back.

True, you can navigate through an audio file but the process is
