Hi.
The "we have detected" message really means nothing except that MLb
is being a pain about anybody that doesn't use its chosen
browsers!!! The live streams play fine in safari with flip4mac. The
archives I have played also have played fine but I havn't done a lot
of archives so I'll experiment aain and get back to you. It may be
the mlb site. Not to point out what you already knew, but of course
there are silences during commercials with some team; I mention this
because I don't think you mentioned whether quicktime was quitting or
you were just getting silence. also, you can either let quicktime
launch or let the wmv window just play from safari and I don't know
which you are doing; I usually let quicktime launch because you have
more control of the quicktime window. If you are letting quicktime
launch, you might want to make sure you have the box under "movies"
checked to have streaming instead of progressive download. Don't know
if any of these suggestions will help you; if nothing I say helps you
can send a further explanation of how you have things set up and I'll
try to think about it some more. I'm assuming you figured out how to
get into the archive links via the schedule link; that had me tearing
my hair out until somebody on a sighted Mac list helped me explore
it. You can use the "audio" links on the gameday audio page if they
are still up from earlier that day but eventually those go down.
Hth.
