I used to run Windows Media on this machine too and this is my bootup
drive. Are you launching quicktime player or not? It will work both
with and without launching quicktime but I seem to remember there's
one setting besides the launch that has to be different. However,
I've had that problem with the NBA site, not with archives as I
recall but with live games; haven't worked on it for a while.
To launch quicktime, you need to go into the flip4mac pane in system
Preferences. One of the choices in the first tab involves launching
quicktime. also in the second that there's I believe a checkbox for
starting movies automatically; that needs to be check too. You can
experiment with the one for streaming vs. progressive download; I
don't know for sure how much difference it makes.
