Making a script to remove these two files is trivial. This is exactly why I always have at least one additional user setup on my system. That way, if something happens to one, I still have the other one for rescue or general use until the other one gets fixed. I strongly urge everyone to make a second (or third) user account, that you can use in case something like this happens to your main account. I keep three. One with admin privs, one I use regularly, and one I use for emergency use or general use when my regular one is toasted (like when i ran into this voiceover problem Scott is talking about) I'll get the script written, then when this happens to someone else, it can be fixed just by executing a script.
