Upgraded yesterday and I'm only noticing two odd things. First,
backspacing in mail while typing a message no longer reads the
deleted character. This is a bit annoying, shouldn't apple be testing
this kind of thing? Second, in Nisus Writer, the shortcut commands no
longer read their functions when pressed (i.e. command+o no longer
says "open"). Not sure if this is due to the OS X update or the
update to Nisus, though, as I applied them both yesterday, and it's
hardly a big deal in any case. I'm not noticing any Safari issues
other than the ones I've already experienced.

As far as I know, this has never worked, since it's not possible to
select portions of the web page, you need to select the *whole*
page,
then paste it into text edit for doing the highlighting.
That's what I've always had to do when I wanted text from a web
page. This is nothing new to 10.4.7, it's the way it's been from
the
start. There''s been numerous complaints about this on list
prior to
now. Unless of course you were referring to something else.
