You don't need to use a key on the keyboard. There's actually a
power switch on the front of the case. If you have a floppy drive in
yours (or zip drive, or something similar) find the middle of the
opening where the disk goes, and go straight down from that point,
about 3 quarters of the way to the bottom of the case. There's a
little round button there that is flush with the front of the case.
Push it in, and the computer will come on. It is hard to find,
especially if you've never used a g3 before. It took me about 10
minutes to find the silly thing the first time I got the one I have.
