How are you doing "jump to time"? Are you just using cmd-equals to
speed it up and watching the time elapsed or is there a qquicker way?
I installed vlc via the source on my linux boxes. Seems like in
reading through the configure options there was a realplayer module
that was disabled by default. I didn't enable it at the time not
knowing anything about it, but I wondered. So on the Mac I tried the
downloaded .ram file from acbradio mainstream and that will play in
vlc. On the other hand, the downloaded ram file from an nfl game
won't play, whether because of the format or because of needing to be
signed in I'm not sure. So you might want to experiment; some
realplayer media apparently will play in vlc on the Mac.
