In ITunes, you have a tree view on the left, and a list view on the right. Your IPod just appears in the lefthand treeview just like anything else...a CD, a playlist, your Library, and so on. If you can use those things, you can transfer songs to the iPod. I've never got it working under mac, as the tree and list views are inaccessible, like I said earlier. It is doable under Windows.

Right, I had heard that the ITunes interface to the IPod was not doable.

Oh, sorry, you said something about using iTunes to interact with the
iPod, which is not really any differen than using iTunes in general.
As for the iPod's interface, I have a 4G IPod with a click wheel and
find it easy to navigate if you know where the options are you are
looking for. Every option clicks as you select it, and the menus do
not wrap.

Josh,

Many of us have had a good deal of success using ITunes. What I
don't know is how well the interface to the IPod works.

ITunes is sadly still not very accessible on the Mac, but it works
pretty well in Windows with Window-Eyes, and is a little less
reliable with Jaws. Usable, though.

Joshh,

There was some talk on the other list a while back about not bbeing
able to use ITunes too interact with the IPod.. Has that been
fixed? I agree with you. Accessibility doesn't have to be just
talking.

Well, like i said. The talking feature would make it easier, but I
have never had a problem using an IPod as a totally blind person.

I'll be interested in seeing a talking IPod if and when there is
one,
but I'd be happy if it was just acccessible. Back to the Mac.
