Hank,
os version is not the same as firmware version.  The 10.4.7 is the os  
version.  The firmware numbers are completely different.
There's ways to check your firmware version, though since I've not  
had a need to do so, I don't know what they are.  Although, I do seem  
to recall someone saying it shows up in about this mac.  If it does,  
I've never noticed.
