Those are what I mean yes.
When I find one I really must manage, I communicate the problem to the
site owners, more often then not with good results. Usually they had not a
clue the problem existed.
Once in a great while though I run into someone who figures I have a
tamed sighted pet person around to read them whenever I ask. It took me
about two years to set up a paypal account.

If you are talking about the captures, or whatever those image security
numbers/letters are called, I don't think any screen reader will work
with them. This has been a hot topic on a few other lists I'm on.
Since they are used to prevent spammers from making accounts with bots,
it's a difficult issue. The audio alternatives are the current
solutions, but I also don't find them helpful at times. It took me
about eight attempts to create a secondary AIM account a few months
back to understand the bloody numbers and letters being read.

Hi all,
I am sure somewhere this subject has come up, but as I just ran into one of
those...again, I was wondering how vo manages these if at all?
I have always guessed that if a test could be read by a screen reader, it
would not be a sound test given how at least n some platforms the reader
works.
I do not find the spoken options to work with my setup. how is this
managed with vo?
Thanks,
Karen
