recording audio with high jack pro

hi all

when i try to record my voice with audio high jack pro, i highjack  
the microphone as my audio source, but how do i record my voice, or  
is a different program required to record and edit audio. also if i  
can use highjack pro to record my voice how do i record sound output  
of the mac at the same time? scot, i think your expertise is here, grins
