This doesn't work for me at all; the aiff file is completed but that's it. Itunes opens after the file is completed but I'm not making any attempt to examine the aiff file before completion. How am I supposed to know when it is completed? Am I somehow supposed to keep itunes from opening until the conversion has been done?
VisioVoice will tell you that it starts importing in iTunes and then that it is done importing. Around the same time iTunes will make a chime sound to indicate it is done with the process. It is fine to have iTunes open, it will actually speed up the process because VisioVoice will then not need to launch it. Which version of iTunes are you using, which Mac OS X version and is it on Intel or PPC?
Another thing that might cause problems is if the audio file (the AIFF file) is very large, perhaps iTunes has a limit regarding the size of files it will handle. How long is the text you are trying to convert? How big is the AIFF file you find in iTunes after the export?
