I couldn't get line in to work either. That's why I moved over to the I Mic,
which prooved to be absolutely amazing.

Yes, the Mac does automatically recognize it. However, the buttons etc.
don't work and I haven't found any driver to provide for that. also
haven't gotten line in to work with it which is very frustrating but may
be my own error somehow.
