You can't expect
the installation to work if you got an error installing a key component.
can you please post the error?
You probably don't need to reinstall firefox but that depends on where
your mistake was.
I don't at all mind helping with this, but please remember to post ALL of
your results so I and others don't end up having to dig through all sorts
of material trying to find the problem. Not meaning to be unkind but this
really is important.
