How do I expand?  I've tried all kinds of ways to look inside a set like 
rock, etc but cannot seem to get past that list.

No you don't have to be registered.

I gave you some incorrect steps, when you ctrl-click on radio, you need to
go to songs, ineract and once you see rock etc, expand.

You'll then see a list of stations and once you find the one you want,
shift-vo-space and hit return.
