hi

as we say though guys, if in leopard we have
jumping past links to get to text
jump to lists, tables, headings, forms, frames, etc.
Voice over is as good as a windows screenreader
the rest of the macintosh is superb, but the internet access is a bugbare However guys as scott points out, most browsers are not designed for safari so to be fair no one is to blame there. Also if we want windows on mac we can install it, so no worries james et al, we can run those sites we want on windows via fusion, parallels or bootcamp so to be honest we have the best of both words, a stable and reliable OS and then windows for those times we need it

Some of your comments are true, but more than not, most are not very accurate. I have had little trouble browsing the web and have only encountered some sites that Safari couldn't work with. It may be a combination of VoiceOver and Safari, but you'd be surprised at the number of sites that are developed to be browser specific which in general causes a great deal of problems. I only use windows at work because I do't have a choice at this point. The other factor to consider is that VoiceOver is where most screen readers were after being in production for a few years. I'm amazed at how far VoiceOver has come just in its short life. Maybe a few years should be 5 years. I think in time VO will in fact be where mos screen readers are now and it won't be as long it it took those screen readers. Also, you have to consider although VoiceOver and the windows-based screen readers share some common factors, they are yet vastly different. Its almost difficult to really compare the two do to the differences. And of course, you are entitled to your opinion, but yes, wait, things will be different.
