Now this printer is not connected to a network at all. So are you saying without the installation disc my Mac will still find it? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dane Trethowan" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS X by theblind" <[email protected]>

You should be able to yes, your Mac should automatically find the printer, you can check this under the Printers and Faxes in System Preferences.

Listers I have a portable Canon IP90 printer and I don't have the installation disc for it, however it is already been configured for my Windows machine. My question is can I just plug it in and think that it will work or do I have to go to Canon's website and get the drivers? If so does it work the same?
