Yeah I want to know the same thing. Don't you hate libraries taking up HD space? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jed Barton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'General discussions on all topics relating to the use of Mac OS Xby theblind'" <[email protected]>

Subject: Playing music

Hey guys,
Alright, a little confusion with playing music. I have most of my music on
an external harddrive. What if I wanna just load a bunch of tracks from a
folder and play them. Here's the thing. I don't want to load them in to
the library.
Can this be done with itunes, without loading them in to the library every
time?
Let me give you an example. What I use to do with winamp and windows. I'd
open it up, highlight a tonof files, and just play them.
I figure, since I already have these files on my external harddrive, why
reload them in to the library if that makes any sense?
Any advice you guys have would be sincerely appreciated.

Thanks,
Jed
