Hi Dane, Yes, I agree that Apple's Mail utility search features combined with the ability to sort on different View option columns is a good way to search for "archives". One useful thing it doesn't do is set date limits for your search -- it just gives you the sorted options and you have to go through the appropriate items. This is one reason I use the Mail Archive search facility, which also allows you to use Boolean arguments that eliminate certain key combinations or look for others. The other reason for using the Mail Archive search is that I can provide a context-rich link for other forum users when I post -- many readers won't be subscribers or else they may just be recent subscribers. The Mail Archive at http://www.mail-archive.com/discuss%40macvisionaries.com/ can be searched by anybody.
