Spotlight just brings up a e-mail header from one of my mail pieces
from another list. It is not oin my documents folder nor in the
trash. I actually want it fixed and I don't wknow what to do. I don't
like the attitudes of some of the list members and help is far and
inbetween. As far as installing Tiger it was a guess as I am not a
Mac expert. Your help would be greatly apreciated.

Depends what you're trying to do with TextEdit.
If you are saying that I have to install Tiger again, I would just
want to get something else.
