I provided her with a Cocoa based text editor with the spelling
disabled. What they wanted was one where the student could not
activate the spelling while taking the test.

I am experimenting with removing the spelling checking options
from an editor.
Now let me add this. I don't know what the nature of the
disability is here, but as a dyslexic the prospect of sitting for
an exam with out a spelling checker on my computer would be a
nauseating idea.
