Doesn't matter how you upgrade, but backing up your data is the most important thing you can do. Matter of fact, I highly recommend you backup the entire system to an external drive.

Well, I'll be getting mine soon after the release date, and boy am I looking forward to it. Who cares if I can't use Windows--not possible on an iBook, not with BootCamp. I am looking forward to playhing with it! I am just debating whether the folks at the Apple Store in King of Prussia will want to install it, or if I can do it. Or rather, what the best way of installing is, if backing up all data to discs and doing a complete re-install, or if doing and archive and re-install will be better. Hmmm ...

Hey guys,

Just ordered Leopard from MacMall:
www.macmall.com

$109, and they say I'll have October 26th delivery. Now whether I will or not, who knows? I picked cheapest ground shipping, at $7.14, but I can fill out a rebate form to have it free if I care to bother. And that $109 is the up front cost, not a mail-in rebate as I'd thought before.

So there ya go :)
