You can get a 150GB external pocket drive from new egg for $59 to do
your backup. or maybe try DVD's instead of CD's if that is what you
were going to use.

Don't have an external hard drive, so that's not an option. I just
hope there's enough discs to back up everything to them.
Is there a way to just archive the system and put it on multiple
discs?

Doesn't matter how you upgrade, but backing up your data is the
most important thing you can do. Matter of fact, I highly
recommend you backup the entire system to an external drive.

Well, I'll be getting mine soon after the release date, and boy
am I looking forward to it. Who cares if I can't use Windows--
not possible on an iBook, not with BootCamp. I am looking
forward to playhing with it! I am just debating whether the
folks at the Apple Store in King of Prussia will want to install
it, or if I can do it. Or rather, what the best way of
installing is, if backing up all data to discs and doing a
complete re-install, or if doing and archive and re-install will
be better. Hmmm ...

Hey guys,
Just ordered Leopard from MacMall:
www.macmall.com
$109, and they say I'll have October 26th delivery. Now whether
I will or not, who knows? I picked cheapest ground shipping, at
$7.14, but I can fill out a rebate form to have it free if I
care to bother. And that $109 is the up front cost, not a mail-
in rebate as I'd thought before.
So there ya go :)
