Thanks you two! <smile> -will try this later today and get back
with y'all...
Oh, btw, just as an FYI, if I can get this to work, it's looking like
I'll have mostly all of the functionality I'm used to, (aside from the
continuous reading)
so things are looking good in that regard. I may also check out
Safari 2 to deal with that weirdness and then should be set up quite
nicely for the time being...
David, thanks very much for your tips on link selection behavior in
Safari. It really helped...
Anyway, thanks again to the both of you! -and have a wonderful
day!...
Smiles,
Cara :)

Yes, item and link choosers are great for this.

How about the Item Chooser (VoKeys+i). If you bring this up and
start typing, it should narrow down the list. It looks through all
text items, so I think it may be similar in function to the Jaws
virtual buffer search. Press enter when you find what you want and
it'll take you to that text.
I've not tried this much, especially on the web, and I do not have
Lepoard, so your millage may vary.

Subject: VO search function in Safari
Hey All, am wondering if anyone might have some tips on searching
in Safari?... I use the search function quite a bit in web pages
and am trying to get used to it in VO. One thing I'm finding is
that it seems to consistently jump out of the html area and may
cause VO to lose focus on it. I can't really give more detail yet
at this point, but I definitely will write more on it as I learn
more...
This behavior is intermittent and the function also seems to miss
instances of words that are definitely there...
As I said, would sure love any feedback anyone might have, and will
definitely keep checking this out as I go...
Thanks in advance and have a wonderful evening / rest of the
weekend!!!...
Smiles,
Cara :)
