Jane and Others, I believe it has to start at the local level with your local Mac/Apple resellers and dealers. For example, at our Anchorage store, we encourage parents of blind students to come into the store and check out the demonstration computers that are on displays for "test driving". There are now, to my knowledge, three blind/visually-impaired Mac users in the Anchorage area. Trudy Bossenaux is visually-impaired; Gretchen Todd and I are totaly blind. Gretchen is a student at the University of Alaska-Anchorage. Trudy influenced my decision to "come back" to the Mac in 2004. She worked with Gretchen in 2005, when Gretchen began her freshman year at UAA. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.
