Jed, in your main mail window go to the mailbox table, go to the
mailbox. Press command I, look for a tab that says messages on server.
Make sure that the pop up says all. Go to the messages table in that
same dialog and wait for the messages to be downloaded. These are all
the messages that are on your server.

I saw earlier, the option to leave messages on the server. That
seems like the most obvious one.
