So, how can i tell if messages are being downloaded?
Is this something i have to do every time i get mail now?
when i hit the tab key on the messages table now and go up and down with the arrow keys, i see nothing.

Jed, in your main mail window go to the mailbox table, go to the mailbox. Press command I, look for a tab that says messages on server. Make sure that the pop up says all. Go to the messages table in that same dialog and wait for the messages to be downloaded. These are all the messages that are on your server.

OK GUYS, THIS IS MAKING NO SENSE AT ALL.
I AM STILL HAVING THIS MAIL ISSUE. NO MAIL IS COMING DOWN TO MY MAC MINNY. AS ONE OF YOU SUGGESTED, I WENT TO THE MAILBOX THAT IS GIVING ME TROUBLE.
I HIT COMMAND I
WHAT SHOULD I EXACTLY BE LOOKING FOR?
What kills me here, this was working fine a few weeks ago, now that i turned my mac minny on, it isn't working.
I don't get it.

Can someone tell me exactly what to change?
I saw earlier, the option to leave messages on the server. That seems like the most obvious one.
