I've gotten Jaws to work on my dual core Mac Book Pro by switching to the Classic laptop keyboard. I'm not really familiar with Jaws so I can't say that everything works but everything I've tried seems to work with the exception of getting the time by pressing Jaws key plus F12. One other idea I've had is to use sticky keys (if there is such a thing) in Windows to see if I can get the standard laptop layout to work. Also, another thing that does work is to use an external USB keypad. I picked it up from Beyond Sight and don't remember the manufacturer or model number. I think it even works with Numpad Commander.

The last reports we had here were that Jaws would install and run under VMware Fusion and Parallels, but that the Jaws cursor, (AKA the mouse pointer), would not read the screen. This is not a problem whatever with Window-Eyes.
