I've never been able to do a Windows XP install without a Windows
product key and in the installs I've done with Fusion you have to
enter the key and do so correctly or the install won't continue There
may be another way but I don't know of one.

I noticed you said username password and product key. What I feel I
am getting is a computer builders version of XP. This is the one
made for people who builds machines. He told me that a product key
wasn't needed. Do you think this will work?

Fusion has an easy install feature that will allow you to install
at least Windows XP. You enter the User name, password and product
key from within Fusion.

This is good to know because I will be installing both Fusion
and XP tonight or in the morning.

I've gotten Jaws to work on my dual core Mac Book Pro by
switching to the Classic laptop keyboard. I'm not really
familiar with Jaws so I can't say that everything works but
everything I've tried seems to work with the exception of
getting the time by pressing Jaws key plus F12. One other
idea I've had is to use sticky keys (if there is such a thing)
in Windows to see if I can get the standard laptop layout to
work.
Also, another thing that does work is to use an external USB
keypad. I picked it up from Beyond Sight and don't remember
the manufacturer or model number. I think it even works with
Numpad Commander.

The last reports we had here were that Jaws would install and
run under VMware Fusion and Parallels, but that the Jaws
cursor, (AKA the mouse pointer), would not read the screen.
This is not a problem whatever with Window-Eyes.
