yes, but it will also ask you for your password before you can change it if 
memory serves and if you don't know the password you won't be able to change 
it.  I know there is a way to recover from this issue but cannot remember 
what it is.  Every method I know of requires a password to do anything with 
the password.

Another way to change a password for an account is to go to the
terminal and run the passwd command.  Type "passwd" and return.
