I would not wait unless you've got lots of time.  Or unless you want to wait 
till spring.

Is Apple going to release a new model very soon? I have looked at the newest

I don't live in San Francisco anyway. I live in Denmark, and the newest
models comes here to the contrey very shortly after it's released. Sorry,
I'm just wandering what you mean.

I would say that the only bad thing about OS X and Voiceover is that
some third-party applications aren't Voiceover compatible yet.  And,
because of the way Voiceover is integrated into the operating system;
there isn't much that a user can do except bug the developer of the
software.
Unless you're in a big hurry to move to the Mac; I would wait a couple
of weeks and see what is released at Macworld in San Francisco.  If a
new computer is released, you might get a good deal on one of the
older models.
